Professional Group Workshops in Brussels

On 14–15 May, IBMA hosted its Professional Groups Face-to-Face Workshops in Brussels. This year, in addition to the Natural Substances and Microbial Workshops, the event featured—for the first time—a dedicated Semiochemicals Workshop, as well as a joint session organized by the Microbial-Based Fermented Mixtures Working Party in collaboration with the NSPG and MPG.

Attendance increased significantly this year, with an average of 50 members participating in the sessions—primarily in person, but also online—and 14 members attending the Semiochemicals session. This growing interest and participation reflect the value and impact of the Professional Groups’ work.

The Secretariat would like to sincerely thank the PG Chairs, Vice-Chairs, moderators, and members of the PG subgroups and Working Parties for their time and effort in preparing the event, as well as all members who attended and contributed to its success.
