About IBMA
Founded in 1995, IBMA is the global voice of the biocontrol industry representing over 200 members from around the world. Working with nature, biocontrol solutions enable farmers to deal with pests and diseases in an environmentally friendly way and are vital to making agriculture more resilient. The biocontrol market in Europe is worth 1.6 billion Euro representing almost 10% of the European crop protection market.
We advocate for proportionate regulation to ensure biocontrol solutions reach the market faster so that farmers can grow healthy, productive and profitable crops ensuring sustainable food production, now, and for future generations.
Our Policy Asks address the urgent needs of European farmers with an immediate acceleration of biocontrol authorisation and lay the foundations for sustaining our food security, a resilient agricultural sector and further development of the EU biocontrol industry as a dynamic force in shaping the future of crop protection.
