Thérèse is a young professional passionate about sustainable agriculture and food systems. Originally from France but raised in Brussels, she holds an engineering degree in international agronomy and development, with a specialization in health and nutrition from AgroParisTech. In addition, she followed a specialized master’s in “Innovations and Policies for Sustainable Food Systems” from Institut Agro-Montpellier. She recently completed a Blue Book traineeship at the European Commission’s DG SANTE Pesticides Unit, where she worked on communication regarding the pesticide regulatory framework and organized a Research & Innovation Webinar connecting researchers and regulators to explore innovative plant protection solutions, including biopesticides, novel application techniques, and integrated pest management
She also gained field experience in West Africa, managing nutrition, sustainability, and agroecology projects in Senegal, with NGOs such as GRDR and ENDA Tiers Monde. Additionally, during her engineering studies, she conducted several consultancy projects, including an agrarian diagnostic for French local authorities, a project on urban agriculture logistics for AgroParisTech’s Urban Agriculture Chair, a study on organic mushroom-based food supplements for the Simplelab group, and a project on plant-based beverages for Nestle.
