Dear Members,
I hope you and your families are all well. I would like to invite you to the 2022 Autumn
General Assembly (AGM) of IBMA. The meeting will be held in the Montreal Auditorium on
the 2nd floor of the Messe Congress Centre, Basel Switzerland. In light of travel restrictions,
due to COVID 19 and in accordance with our Statutes it will also be possible to attend the
meeting online via Zoom.
Location: Basel Messe Congress Centre and Virtual Meeting
Date: Monday, 24th October 2021 14:00 – 16:00 CET
The Draft Agenda can be found here and we ask that you send any additional items for
inclusion to Britta Schnittger (Britta Schnittger or myself) by 17:00CET 7th October. The
final agenda and all pre-reading will be circulated prior to the meeting to those who have
registered.
We would like to encourage all members to attend as important business is conducted at
this meeting. We would hope to see as many of you as possible in person but we also offer
the possibility to join the meeting online. All companies can attend but only one person
from the active members can vote. Each company can hold a proxy for a maximum of one
other company.
If you would like to attend the AGM and vote it is important to register with the
Secretariat by 20th October. This is extremely important so that we can ensure your
access to the meeting room. If you have not registered you will not be able to access
the meeting room in Basel or if you are joining online you will not receive the meeting
link.

One important agenda item is the election of a new Treasurer. All IBMA Active Members have
been invited to participate in the election of the next IBMA Treasurer via e-vote. See email
here. If you choose to participate in the vote, please fill out the ballot sheet your company
has received and send it back by 19th October to britta.schnittger@ibma-global.org.
Important information for those who will travel to the AGM in Basel
Upon arrival at the Messe you will initially receive your ABIM registration and then proceed
to the meeting room on the second floor. Access to the meeting room will be possible
from 13.30 and we kindly request that you allow enough time to ensure your timely arrival
for the start of the meeting at 14.00.
