Attention Agripreneurs!
Do you need to secure funding for a biocontrol innovation? Then participate in the Call for Pitches, a unique opportunity at ABIM in partnership with AgBioScout.
The submission process is open until 5 September. The pitching sessions will take place on 23 October 2024, at ABIM in Basel, Switzerland.
A total of twelve companies will be selected to pitch in front of a panel of investors.
The pitches will be split into two sessions, the first session consisting of six early-stage companies will be presented in the main auditorium from 8:30-10:00. The second round for later-stage companies will be presented in an invite only session from 10:30-12:30.
To ensure your opportunity to pitch, please send your pitch deck of no more than 10 slides to conference@abim.ch
The pitch decks will be reviewed by a jury consisting of:
- Lucius Tamm – CEO, ABIM
- Jennifer Lewis – Executive Director, IBMA Global
- Cormac O’Cleirigh – Vice President of Partnerships, AgBioScout
- Hadyn Parry – Chairman at Aphea.Bio, LettUs Grow and PBL Technology
So, what happens if I am successful?
If you are one of those selected to pitch, AgBioScout will help you prepare your pitch for ABIM. Successful applicants who secure funding for their innovation will be required to pay 1% of funds directly raised from the event to AgBioScout.
If you have questions about putting together the pitch, please contact Nick Harman of AgBioScout at nick@agbioscout.com.
Submit your pitch by 5 September to conference@abim.ch indicating Call for Pitches and the organization’s name in the subject line. Please note pitch decks received after this date will not be considered.
