Together with the Institute for European Environmental Policy (IEEP), we invite you to participate in the 4th edition of the European Green Deal Barometer by 26th February 2024.
The annual survey gathers views from sustainability experts on the European Union’s progress towards implementing the European Green Deal and its constituent policies. It also examines the political trends that may impede or accelerate that process.
With European elections taking place in 2024, your expert input is more important than ever. It is vital that we properly understand the prospects for implementing the Green Deal before the end of the current term. The political balance of power could affect the progress of the European Green Deal, and we want to know how resilient the Deal is expected to be in the face of any changes. This year, the survey will also take a closer look at the politics of passing the Green Deal, its social provision aspects, and its impact on non-European countries.
Some of the questions the survey will explore include:
- How resilient will the European Green Deal agenda be in the face of any changes to the current political balance of power resulting from the 2024 European Elections?
- Which European countries are least committed to the European Green Deal?
- How committed do you think different political groups will be to the European Green Deal agenda after the EU 2024 elections?
We would be very grateful if you could share your views on these topics, using this link.
The survey is likely to take between 15-20 minutes. Your progress through the survey will be saved on the device you open it on, so it may be completed in more than one sitting. Fieldwork will close by 26th February.
Your response is confidential and will not be attributed to you. Any data you provide will be stored securely and in compliance with both GDPR and the Market Research Society’s Professional Code of Conduct.
