Calls for Candidates – President and Treasurer

Dear IBMA Members,
As you may know elections for the IBMA Board positions of President and Treasurer will be held this year, to fill the roles from January 2027.  Both, the incumbent President and Treasurer are eligible to stand for re-election for an additional term.

The Secretariat have been informed:

• Karel Bolckmans, IBMA President, will stand for re-election.
• Alain Querrioux, IBMA Treasurer, will stand for re-election.

The calls for IBMA President and IBMA Treasurer are now open.

We ask for nominations by 01 September 2026, 17:00 CEST. Elections will take place between 14 September and 14 October. The results will be announced at the Autumn General Assembly, 20 October 2026 in Basel.

 Candidates should have:

• Passion for the biocontrol industry
• Proven leadership capabilities
• Good networking skills 
• Fluency in English, the working language of the association
